I’ve been a fan of Nam June Paik’s video artwork ever since I first saw it many years ago. When I discovered he collaborated with Ryuichi Sakamoto, it just made sense – if the song is a remodel, why not the music video? A match made in analog heaven. It’s not every day you get to work with such visionary artists and with such an iconic piece of music. As Nam June Paik said so many years ago… ‘The culture that’s going to survive in the future is the culture that you can carry around in your head’.”
